This ensures delivery of hands-on training and technical
knowledge, essential for the career development of our crew,
keeping crews updated of the latest information and technology
on-board vessels, enabling them to perform their respective tasks
with confidence, accuracy and efficiency.
The aim of the Career Development Programme is to see each and
every Deck and Engine Cadet becomes a successful Master or Chief
Engineer within 10-12 years with the company through motivation,
performance monitoring and career promotion.
Compliance and competency based training are further provided to
enhance their capabilities, performances and skills, appropriate to
the assigned vessel type and trade.
Career for life is also viewed by the company as a reward to every
deserving seafarer aiming to work onshore in whatever capacity that
would suit their qualification. This could be employment in the
Technical, Crewing, Operation or Training Department not only in
Manila office, but throughout all V.Ships offices.
